Jiaying Zhang is a set designer.
 
Her recent work includes The Discarded at Rattlestick Theatre, interactive Afro-Futurist performance Shabazz B. Spacely’s Cabinet of Intergalactic Curiosities (Brooklyn Children's Museum), play The Sea does not Reach Naples (Columbia University, New York), musical Monstress (New Ohio Theatre, New York), play Cherry Jam (IRT, New York), photo exhibition The Quest – Performing with the Ghost (Prague Quadrennial), In The Blood (The Atlas Theatre, New York).

She is currently collaborating with choreographer Morgan Amirah Burns on Black Girls Who Don't Like Watermelon Unite, at Abrons Arts Center, and designing How I Disappeared at New Ohio Theatre.

She received her MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
She lives in New York.
